The 2026 season for the Shropshire Blues and Roots Club opens on Saturday 18th April with THE CHRIS JAGGER TRIO and house band BLUE MOON.

 

Chris’s 40 year career as musician , singer and actor has seen him release several solo albums and collaborations, including some with his brother, and contribute songs to numerous other artists, as well as tour Europe and the world with his own bands.

He last played the Blues and Roots Club, memorably, in 2019, where he tore the place apart with a full rock n blues band.

Now he’s back, with a talented trio featuring violinist Elliet Mackrell and bassist David Hatfield, to entertain us with his energetic and soulful songs and personality - this is not to be missed, so we recommend buying advance tickets. CHRIS and the trio will be first on stage at the Brewery, and the show will be closed by our magnificent house band BLUE MOON plus, we hope, a jam/mash up featuring both bands and as many musicians as we can cram on to the stage!
